Rick DeForrest was born in Little Falls, New York, a small artistic Hamlet carved in between the murky waters of the Mohawk River and the small foothills of the Adirondack mountains. As a toddler, Rick was blessed with a uncanny ability to consume twice his body weight in soft drinks. This made his temperament somewhat erratic, but he found solace in coloring books and melting army men. Rick DeForrest has a B.F.A in Ceramics from Northern Kentucky University. Rick lives in Cincinnati, Ohio where he is engaged in art making and hopes to show his work internationally.
